Report a Fraud

Have you noticed an unusual transaction on your account and want to know what to do about it

If you think you've been a victim of payment fraud or noticed payments to a shop, company or online store you don't recognise, you can report it to us on the following numbers: 
 

  • Calling 1800 245 403 (Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 9am-5pm)
  • If calling from outside Ireland or outside of these hours call (+44) 370 010 1913

You can reverse the charges on calls from abroad through the international operator when calling from a landline. Calls may be recorded

You can report credit card fraud to us using the following numbers:
 

  • Personal credit cards, call 1890 924 257 (24/7)
  • From outside Ireland, call (+44) 345 300 4350 (24/7). 

You can reverse the charges on calls from abroad though the international operator when calling from a landline. Calls may be recorded.

If you have received a fraudulent or suspicious email and not responded to it please forward the email to phishing@ulsterbank.com

Remember, if an offer seems too good to be true, it usually is - don't respond to any unsolicited communication.

If you don't recognise a payment on your statement it could be because the company you have made a payment to may have a different trading name from the one you expect.

Our detection system looks out for unusual patterns on your account, and if we notice anything of concern, we may contact you using our automated system or an operator to help protect you against fraud.

If you receive a call or voicemail from us about your bank account or debit card, please call us back on 1800 245 403 as soon as possible (calls may be recorded).
If we do not hear from you we may send a letter asking you to contact us.
