How to report fraud

Noticed any unusual transactions?

If you think you've been a victim of payment fraud or noticed payments to a shop, company or online store you don't recognise, you can report it to us on the following numbers: 

  • Calling 1800 245 403 (Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 9am-5pm)
  • If calling from outside Ireland call (+44) 125 230 8047

You can reverse the charges on calls from abroad through the international operator when calling from a landline. Calls may be recorded

Fraud on credit cards

You can report credit card fraud to us using the following numbers:

  • Personal credit cards, call 1890 924 258 (24/7)
  • From outside Ireland, call (+44) 126 850 0813 (24/7). 

You can reverse the charges on calls from abroad though the international operator when calling from a landline. Calls may be recorded.

If you have received a fraudulent or suspicious email which you have not responded to, please forward the email to phishing@ulsterbank.com

 

If you have responded to the email, please call our Fraud Team on 1800 245 403. (Calls may be recorded).

 

Remember, if an offer seems too good to be true, it usually is - don't respond to any unsolicited communication.

Our fraud detection systems look out for unusual patterns on your account, and if we notice anything of concern, we may contact you using our automated system or an operator to help protect you against fraud. 

 

If you receive a call or voicemail from us about your bank account or debit card, please call us back on 1800 245 403 as soon as possible (calls may be recorded). If we do not hear from you we may send a letter asking you to contact us.

 

To help us in our fight against fraud, please ensure all your contact details are accurate and up to date.
