Update your contact details to prepare for changes to log on.
Later this year, we’ll be sending upgraded Bankline QR (Quick Response) Smartcard readers to your existing Smartcard users. This is in preparation for the new Payment Service Directive 2 (PSD2) regulations which will see the introduction of Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).
The upgraded QR Smartcard readers will give you more security when logging on, authorising payments and making administrative changes on Bankline.
It’s important you ensure all Bankline user contact details are up to date.
If contact details are incorrect, your users will not receive their upgraded QR Smartcard reader (plus Smartcard if required) and will be unable to log on to Bankline after the changes take place.
Please ensure that a Bankline user with administration privileges checks and updates the following information as soon as possible
- Bankline customer address
- All user addresses
- All user mobile numbers (where available)
- If it’s not a Republic of Ireland number, please include the country code (eg. 0044 for UK, 0033 for France)
- All user email addresses
