We’ve introduced the option to access a number of Ulster Bank services at 1,100 An Post outlets across Ireland so banking with us is even easier.
You can access the following services:
- Lodge cash using a barcoded personalised credit slip or your Debit Card
- Lodge cheques* using a barcoded personalised credit slip
*Cheque lodgement option is available at designated An Post outlets only.
All customers that use credit books for their banking services will need to order a new barcoded credit book to use An Post Services.

- Ulster Bank An Post services are available from 20 April 2015 on a phased basis, with full roll-out to participating outlets being completed by 29 May 2015
- The level of service may differ at each An Post outlet as the Cheque lodgement option is available at designated An Post outlets only and is subject to different cut-off times depending on the outlet
- Transactions carried out at An Post will take longer to be credited to your account, than if they were made in an Ulster Bank branch
- Cash lodged through An Post will be credited to your Ulster Bank account within 2 hours if lodged in An Post before 3:30pm. Cash lodgements received after this time will be credited by 10am on the next business day
More on using An Post services
