You may have received an email or letter advising that we’re making some changes to how you receive your statements. You’ll receive paperless statements instead of paper statements.

What changes are we making to how you receive your statements?

We recently contacted you to advise a change in how you receive your statements for one or more of your accounts. This means that you’ll no longer receive paper statements. Instead you’ll be able to easily view, download or print up to 7 years of statement history online through Anytime Internet Banking.

Why are we making these changes?

From listening to our customers, we know that many would prefer a more automated, convenient and environmentally friendly way of receiving statements. Within Anytime Banking, you can quickly and securely access your new statements and up to 7 years of your statement history online, whenever and wherever you want.

 

Is there a cost to use PDF statements?

There is no additional cost to access, view or print your online statements.

Can I still request a paper statement if I need one?

Yes, you can still request a paper statement if you require one. Duplicate statements are posted to you at a cost. Your online statements are held for up to 7 years and can be printed at no additional cost to you.

What do I need to view my statements online?

You’ll need a PDF reader to view and print your statements online.

Do I need to take any action to move from paper to paperless statements?

No. To move to paperless statements, you don’t need to do anything further as we’ll update your account(s) to receive paperless statements instead of paper statements.

What do I need to do if I decide to continue receiving paper statements?

If you decide to continue receiving paper statements, please let us know by the date outlined in the email or letter you received from us. You can let us know through one of the following ways:

 

  • Complete a short form here
  • Drop into any Ulster Bank branch
  • Call us on 1850 424 365 or +353 1 804 7475 from outside of Ireland and a member of staff will assist you

You must advise us by the date outlined in the email or letter you received from us to continue receiving paper statements.

 

You’ll always be able to adjust your settings and can change back to paper statements at any time.

What if I’m happy with the change to paperless statements but change my mind later?

If you move to paperless statements and change your mind later, please call us on 1850 424 365 or +353 1 804 7475 from outside of Ireland, or drop into any Ulster Bank branch and a member of staff will assist you.

 

You can also:

 

  • Log into Anytime Banking at www.ulsterbankanytimebanking.ie
  • Select ‘Statements’
  • In the ‘Paperless Settings’ option, click ‘Start Paper Statements’ for the account(s) you wish to receive paper statements

How can I access statements online?

You can view your paperless statements in Anytime Banking:

 

 

I already receive online statements; what changes for me?

You’ll continue to be able to view your statements online as usual, however you will no longer receive paper statements.

How will I know when my statement is available online?

You can set up alerts to let you know when a new statements is available to view online. To ensure you receive notifications, please ensure that both your email address and phone number are up to date. You can do this in the ‘Your Details’ section in Anytime Banking.

 

To set up alerts to receive an email notification that your statements are available online:

 

  • Go to ‘Account Summary’
  • Click on ‘Alerts, ‘Manage Alerts’
  • Then select ‘Amend Alert Settings’

 

Your statements will be available online on the same date you always receive them.

Will my statement frequency change?

No, your statement frequency will not change. 

How do I view my recent transactions?

You can view your recent transactions by:

 

  • Logging in to Anytime Banking at www.ulsterbankanytimebanking.ie
  • ‘Account Summary' page is presented and all your accounts listed
  • Select the account type you wish to view and click on ‘View More Transactions’
  • Select the period you wish to view.
