Move money between your accounts instantly

We've made transferring money between your own accounts really easy!

  • Open your app
  • Choose the account you want to move it from and select the 'Transfer between accounts' option
  • Choose which of your accounts you want to move the money to and enter the amount
  • Select 'Make Transfer' and confirm your details

Then let us take care of the rest.

Login at the touch of a button - with fingerprint authentication

With Touch ID for iPhone or Android Fingerprint you can login to our mobile app quickly and easily.

Touch ID is available on iPhone 5S, 6 and 6S Plus users with iOS8 or higher operating system. Once you have logged into our app you can turn this feature on through the 'More' menu.

How to enable Touch ID

Android Fingerprint is available on selected Android devices that support Fingerprint Authentication with an operating system of 6.0 (Marshmallow) or above.

Get Cash from a cash machine without your debit card

Get Cash allows you to withdraw money from a cash point without using your bank card. It’s perfect for those times when you need small amounts of cash but don’t have your wallet or purse to hand.

How does it work?


Get Cash allows you to quickly choose an amount of cash that you would like to withdraw from within the app. We will then provide you with a secure cash code that will be valid for 3 hours and can be used at any Ulster Bank Republic of Ireland or EasyCash cash machine to withdraw your money.

You can use this cash code yourself or text it to someone else. This service can only be used twice a day and you can only have one cash code at any one time. If the code expires, the funds will re-credit your account within 24 hours.


Important Information:


  • Get Cash allows a maximum withdrawal limit of €130 every 24 hours and this must be within the daily withdrawal limit for your debit card.
  • There is a maximum limit of 2 Get Cash withdrawals per day.
  • You must have at least €10 available funds to withdraw from your account (including any overdraft facility).
  • We must have your correct mobile number in our records.
  • You must have an active debit card for your account.

Get Cash is available on iPhone, Android, Windows and BlackBerry devices.


You can use Get Cash as soon as you activate your app for the service. You can find out how to do this on our 'getting started' page.

Set up, view and cancel your standing orders 

Why spend lunch in a bank queue? Create a standing order from your mobile.

Open up the mobile app to view the status of your standing orders, check the details and keep an eye on the next payment date.


  • To cancel a standing order from within the mobile app you must give two working days notice.

You can also create standing orders within the app to saved payees, companies or between your own accounts.


You can use Pay Someone New as soon as you activate your app for the service. You can find out how to do this on our 'getting started' page.

Apply for new accounts

Managing your accounts is now even easier with Mobile Banking.

To apply for an account through your mobile app, log in and select the 'Products' option from the menu.


You can begin applications for:


  • A personal loan
  • A new credit card
  • A new overdraft, or make a change to your existing limit
  • A new savings account.


Important Information

To apply for a loan you need to be 18 or over, be a resident in the Republic of Ireland and an existing Ulster Bank current account customer.

To apply for a credit card you need to be 18 or over and a resident in the Republic of Ireland.

To apply for an overdraft you must be a Republic of Ireland resident, aged 18 or over, be registered for Anytime Banking and have an eligible Ulster Bank current account. (Overdrafts are not available on Dual, Step, Service, Adapt or Facility Accounts.)

To apply for a savings account you need to be 18 or over and a resident in the Republic of Ireland.

If you need to visit one of our branches in Ireland or to get some cash quickly, you can use our mobile app to find your nearest Ulster Bank branch or cash machine by using your location services or by entering an address.

How does it work?


Our Near Me service is available on iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry10 and Windows devices. BlackBerry10 users will need BlackBerry Maps and BlackBerry Services to use this feature.


Please be aware that these services use mobile data, so check with your network provider as you may be charged.
